More: Tanner was abandoned, finally rescued after 3 weeks on the run in the woods. He was very ill and starving when rescued. We were so blessed that he chose us to share his next 11 years. We had to make the most painful decision to end his suffering a few months ago. He bravely fought through the incredible pain of osteosarcoma of his front right leg for four months to stay with us as long as possible. He will never be forgotten.
