More: We rescued him in Blue Ridge, GA. He was an awesome frisbee catching dog, but injured himself going high for a catch and landing wrong. Both back legs went lame. We couldn’t put him down, so the University of Wisconsin Vet Hospital did back surgery for a herniated disc. After months of physical therapy and rehab, he could walk again. That was 2 1/2 years ago. He is doing well, just had to give up the frisbee catching. He’s our boy, and goes everywhere we go. An excellent traveler...and a friend to all he meets.
