More: Trixie is an adventurous, humorous and very sweet pup. She certainly keeps us on our toes. The beach is her happy place. The ability to be off leash and run the length of the shore barking at the waves who dare to come back time and time again even after she's warned them to go back from where they came. Many a hole has been dug in the sand, only to be covered by the reoccurring wave action. She is the boss of the beach and immediately draws the attention of any passerby who immediately become her friend. Additionally, Trixie has the unique distinction to have been a giant balloon in the 2016 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade because her Mom (me!) ran the event for many years and during my last year, I gave Trixie (and the world) a special, commemorative gift! A not too subtle nod to Trixie and all the amazing dogs out there who constantly bring great joy to the world.
