More: Walter was a COVID dog. A family got him from a breeder and couldn’t handle him, so he was crated for much of his puppy days before being given up to an animal shelter. He was rescued by Society of Humane Friends, and entered into the Gwinnett Jail Dog program. We saw his picture on Facebook and “hounded” them until they let us adopt him.
