More: Winnie is a rescue dog who came into my life during the pandemic. She’s been the best support in a year of craziness and uncertainty. Winnie is my little shadow and loves to go on adventures with me. She would play outside, wrestle, hike, look for sticks, or simply lay in the gray all day if I let her. Her smiling face is a welcomed treat when I get home from a long day working at the hospital.
