More: Born in Puerto Rico! Weighing in at a whopping 4 pounds at 9 weeks of age, don’t let her size fool you! Yuca is already sailing, hiking and paddle boarding with our family. When she is not adventuring she’s giving the chickens, kitties, turtle, horses and bigger dogs a run for their money!! We walk our two rescue horses every evening on the backroads nestled in the foot hills of the El Yunque rainforest . The sweet couple up the road that we frequent on our walks have a Chihuahua mix that gave birth to 8 puppies! The couple cannot care for them and asked us to help. The husband has Alzheimer’s and we check on them and the pups daily. Yuca has made friends with everyone on the homestead as well as giving cuteness overload to friends that we meet along the way!
