More: Zoey is a rescue. She was a breeder dog and at 2.5 was on her fourth litter. One of the puppies was breach in this delivery and she had to be rushed in for emergency surgery. During surgery she had to be spayed but also received a third degree heating pad burn on her back. Breeder surrendered her to the rescue and we took her in as a medical foster to heal her and find her a great home. In the healing process she showed us such love and appreciation we knew we had found her furever home.
