Layla

Robert Moses State Park - just north of the lighthouse on the Great South Bay

More: Layla was abandoned in a vacant house before she was rescued by the Humane Society. I adopted her at the age of 6 months. She and I worked hard to train and rehabilitate her and ever since she has shown off her inquisitive, energetic personality. We regularly hike through state parks together and she enjoys playing with kids and other dogs. Sometimes Layla even carries her own backpack with essentials like treats and water. Layla’s interests include squirrels, cuddling, sticks, tennis balls, shaking hands, and ‘singing’ along to music. Her perfect day would probably include napping in the sun, lots of belly rubs and snacks, and playing fetch on the beach.
