More: I rescued Mikko when he was 8 months old. The guess was that he was a lab/beagle mix. He was very shy, but latched onto me right away. Mikko is the bestest adventure buddy - he has been on multiple 4-day backpacking trips! - but is also always down for a cuddle. Just this past winter I went thru with DNA testing, only to find out that he is a cocker spaniel/shiba inu mix - imagine my surprise! Mikko is the perfect pup, and this pictures sums up just how happy he really is :)
