More: Ophie is an upland fanatic. She’s particularly good at sniffing out and flushing ruffed grouse in the woods of eastern Idaho. She’s also got a great nose in the prairie for finding sharpies, pheasants, and huns. She’s the only lab I know who isn’t interested in ducks and hunts close enough to give me shots at chukar without spooking them too far out. She’s a patient, very loving and gentle older “sister” to my 10 month daughter. Like any good lab, she can be found sitting at the side of our daughter’s high chair waiting for little scraps of food to find their way to the ground.
